All the information you need on how to join Tuesday Night Social, either as a member or by joining our Project Team. Plus details on how you can support our work.
Become a Member
We welcome any person to join Tuesday Night Social, there is just one requirement, and that is you have to be at least 16 years of age. Our focus is on creating inclusive social and leisure opportunities for disabled people and we welcome both disabled people and non-disabled people to join our project.
It couldn't be easier to join, all you need to do is attend any of our sessions at The Ark and we will take it from there!
Join Our Team
If you're interested in joining our Project Team, then please email us at email@example.com. We always welcome new volunteers to join our team, who will help us deliver our projects and services. All volunteers are required to undergo a DBS check. To join our team you have to be at least 18 years old.
We also have opportunities for Junior Volunteers that are 16 or 17 year olds.
Fundraising has always played a vital role in allowing us to deliver our projects. As a not-for-profit organisation it is crucial to the future of Tuesday Night Social.
Our annual fundraising event is the Liverpool Santa Dash, which usually takes place on the first Sunday in December. We have had members of our Project Team complete the Santa Dash most years since we founded in 2008. The last time we completed the Santa Dash was in 2019, we intend to return in 2023 though and we would love it if you could join us!
There are of course other events, such as sponsored fun runs, abseils or cycle events that individuals can get involved with to raise funds for Tuesday Night Social,
Make a Donation
If you would like to make a donation to our project, please note that cheques and postal orders need to be payable to The Accessible Guide C.I.C and sent to our postal address.
We are also able to accept goods that can be used as raffle prizes.
If you would like to make a donation, join us at the Santa Dash, complete another fundraising event, or have any suggestions then please get in touch.
Your support is greatly appreciated and will help Tuesday Night Social create more opportunities for inclusion, that will have a positive impact on both the physical and mental wellbeing of our members.
